For the second time in her career, Doriane Pin has claimed victory in F1 Academy, after a commanding victory on Sunday morning at Zandvoort. Pin, backed by Mercedes, went from pole to victory at Zandvoort, after she took a comfortable victory in race 2 as she won by over two seconds at the chequered flag to her Prema teammate Maya Weug and it would be a Prema 1-2. A great result for the team. The two Prema drivers would be joined on the podium by Alpine Academy's Abbi Pulling, of Rodin Motorsport, who won race 1 earlier in the day. After a penalty for Nina Gademan for causing a collision, Hamda Al Qubaisi in fourth and Aurelia Nobels completed the top five. Pulling, who leads the championship coming into the round, started second but would drop to third after not the best of starts. She extended her championship lead after she went from pole to victory also. Race 1 was rescheduled for Sunday morning after severe weather conditions saw it postponed on Saturday. Pulling came into the round with a 66-point lead coming into round 4 at Zandvoort. How F1 Academy race 2 at Zandvoort unfoldedFor the second time on Sunday morning, on the day of the Dutch Grand Prix, it was time to go racing in the 2024 F1 Academy Championship, at Zandvoort for round four. There had already been one race on Sunday morning, which was the re-scheduled race 1 from Saturday after severe weather saw the race postponed. The day's earlier race saw Abbi Pulling take her fifth win of the season, as she converted her fifth pole position of the season to race victory in comfortable fashion. Nerea Marti of Campos finished second and Maya Weug of Prema finished third, behind Rodin Motorsport's Pulling after a time penalty for Prema's Doriane Pin for a false start. In terms of race 2, it would be the Mercedes backed Doriane Pin to start from pole position after her second best lap time was better than the other 15 drivers in comparison and therefoe, for the first time since the opening round in Jeddah, she would start from the very front. Pin would have Pulling alongside, and would need to beat championship leader Pulling to try and close the gap, as the points gap between the pair had extended from 66, which was the gap at the start of the weekend. It was though time to go racing for race 2, after the formation lap with Dorian Pin on pole position and Abbi Pulling alongisde at Zandvoort. There would be the ful 17 laps for race 2 that was shortned to 13 for race 1, due to the busy Sunday schedule on Grand Prix Sunday The lights would go out and Pin would do what she needed to do and got a good start, she maintained the lead into the first corner, while a bad start from Abbi Pulling would see her drop to third behind home hero Maya Weug who got a great start into second. Lia Block and Jessica Edgar stalled initially at the race start but were able to get going again thankfully, but there races had been almost completely destroyed and had an awful lot of work to do. Nerea Marti had been shovelled out after starting in the top five once again at Zandvoort after she ran out of road, going wheel-to-wheel with Aurelia Nobels and would drop down to ninth place. Not much overtaking would be happening in the early stages as out front Pin was extending her gap from Weug, who was doing a good job of keeping Pulling behind. Further back, a battle was developing between Aurelia Nobels, Nina Gademan and Hamda Al Qubaisi for fourth position, as they were forming a train. This would take laps and laps of hard work but eventually Gademan, the wildcard driver, would go for a move into turn 11. Gademan would send an ambitious move down the inside and would be alongside but after clipping the inside curb she would go into the inside of Nobels forcing her into the gravel. Gademan would take the place and would speed off into the distance and losing her a couple of positions. Hamda Al Qubaisi would also get ahead of Nobels. Gademan would receive a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision, which would be added to her race time at the end of the race. Nobels would be dropping back from fourth and fifth and would be unable to stay with them as further up the road, Pulling was trying to find a way ahead of the Ferrari back Prema driver Maya Weug, who was in search for a double podium on home soil. Pulling was being urged to find a way through by her engineer but she was just struggling to find a way through on a circuit that is notoriously difficult to overtake. However, Emely De Heus in the Red Bull Ford liveried car would manage to be able to make a pass. She took 13th with a super and clean move down the inside on her MP Motorsport teammate and Visa RB backed Amna Al Qubaisi. It was a move from De Heus that would delight her home crowd at Zandvoort. Onto the final lap and Weug was doing all she could to hold off Pulling who was just struggling and was finding it difficult to pass on this circuit with limited opportunity. Out front though, it was brilliantly managed by Doriane Pin and for the second time in her first season of F1 Academy she was set to become a race winner once again. Out of the final banked corner and to the line, Doriane Pin took victory at Zandvoort in race 2. Pin won by almost two full seconds ahead of her Prema teammate Maya Weug, backed by Ferrari. A great result for Prema to have a 1-2 finish, with the Mercedes backed Pin taking the victory ahead of Weug. Abbi Pulling completed the podium score in third place. Not the win that Pulling may have wanted but a third place finish is still a good result and minimises compared to PIn earlier, the gap gained by the fellow driver in the standings. Nina Gademan's 10-second time penalty would drop her to 10th, after she originally crossed the line in fourth. A double points score should be celebrated for the wildcard driver on her first F1 Academy weekend in her career. She would surely be welcomed back to race again for a full season in 2025. Hamda Al Qubaisi would inherit fourth and Aurelia Nobels would take fifth place back ahead of Carrie Schreiner in sixth position. Lola Lovinfosse finished seventh for Rodin Motorsport, backed by Charlotte Tilbury. She finished ahead of Nerea Marti, who would have to settle for eighth. Tina Hausmann in ninth and Gademan would complete the points scoring positions. After such a fantastic weekend of action with two different winners it will be almost a month until F1 Academy is next back in action, when the championship supports Formula 1 at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, taking place on September 20-22. 2024 F1 Academy Championship: Round 4 - Netherlands race 2 provisional result

British Alpine Academy driver Abbi Pulling, of Rodin Motorsport, took victory in the re-scheduled F1 Academy race at Zandvoort, on Sunday morning, for his fifth win of the year. Pulling took her fifth win of the season after also starting from pole for the fifth time of the season as she won by over five seconds to second place Nerea Marti, after Doriane Pin took a five-second time penalty for a false start. Maya Weug would complete the top three, at her home event, in third. The race would be re-scheduled after severe weather conditions of rain and wind made the track unsafe to race. Therefore, as safety is paramount, the race was postponed and re-scheduled for early on Sunday morning - 08:30 UK time. Thanks to victory, Abbi Pulling extends her championship lead over Doriane Pin, who is second in the standings, after coming into round 4 with a 66-point lead. How the F1 Academy race 1 unfolded at ZandvoortAfter two months since the last racing action it was time for racing in the 2024 F1 Academy championship for round four, taking place at the Zandvoort circuit. Race 1 would initially be supposed to take place in late Saturday afternoon but was postponed due to unsafe weather conditions, as severe rain and wind made it unsafe to go racing. This would mean the race would be re-scheduled for Sunday morning and the drivers ad teams would race twice on Sunday, with the race 2 still taking place on the same day. In terms of how the grid would look, that would be determined by the order of how qualifying finished on Saturday morning, which would see the fifth consecutive pole position for Abbi Pulling, and she would start from the front. Alongside her would be Doriane Pin, who would start race 2 from pole position as her second best lap time was better than everyone else's second best time. It would be time to go racing on Grand Prix Sunday as all 16 cars took to the grid for the shortened race 1, which would be 13 laps instead of the original 17. The lights would go out and a great launch from Abbi Pulling would see her take the lead into the first corner as Doriane Pin would find herself under pressure from Nerea Marti, but would manage to stay in front after the first few corners. Further around the lap, after a great qualifying, Nina Gademan was hounding Aurelia Nobes for fifth and by the second lap, she would complete the move and get herself ahead of the ART of Nobels, who is backed by Puma. Nobels would be struggling to settle back down into a rhythm, after being passed by Gademen at the start, and a couple of laps later, the Brazilian would lose another position and drop to seventh as Chloe Chambers found her way through. At the race start, Doriane Pin would be found to have jumped the start as would Amna Al Qubaisi. Pin, backed by Mercedes and driving for Prema, and Al Qubaisi, backed by Visa RB and driving for MP Motorsport, would both be handed a five-second time penalty each. The five-second time penalty for Pin, would require her to push over the remaining laps, to try and pull five seconds to third place Nerea Marti, so she would not lose even more points to Abbi Pulling in the championship. Lap 9 and Pulling was controlling the pace out front and was over three seconds clear of Pin and was showing great speed once again, and she was in search for her fifth win of the season. Onto the final three laps and there was a battle for seventh, which was developing into a three-way debate between the ART cars of Aurelia Nobels and Lia Block as well as the MP Motorsport of Hamda Al Qubaisi. Lap 12, and after a tricky couple of corners in the final sector, Williams Academy's Lia Bock was right under pressure from Hamda Al Qubaisi, backed by Red Bull Racing, as they made their way down the start/finish straight onto the final lap. Al Qubaisi had the momentum and into turn 1, made the overtake complete and would find herself into eighth. In the final lap, no one could get near Abbi Pulling just like throughout the entire race and the Alpine Academy driver of Rodin Motorsport would see the chequered flag first to take victory. Pulling would take her fifth win of the season and would take a big haul of points with Pin's penalty. Pin would initially cross the line in second but with her five second penalty would drop all the way down to fifth, therefore, Spanish driver Nerea Marti would finish second for Campos Racing. Maya Weug, on home soil, would be the driver to inherit third place and the Ferrari backed Prema would be happy with that result. Nina Gademan in a great effort would be promoted to fourth in a fantastic result for her and would score a top five finish on debut in the F1 Academy series. A great achievement and would have finished in the top five, even without Pin's penalty. Chloe Chambers was sixth for Campos ahead of ART's Puma backed Aurelia Nobels, who was seventh. Hamda Al Qubaisi would take eighth ahead of Lia Block with Sauber backed Campos driver, Carrie Schreiner, who completed the top 10. After a race of action that produced drama and a fifth win of the season for Abbi Pulling, there would be just over an hour to wait until the originally scheduled race 2, which would be later on Sunday morning on Grand Prix Sunday. 2024 F1 Academy Championship: Round 4 - Netherlands race 1 provisional classification

Writer - F1 Journal British talent and Alpine Academy Rodin Motorsport driver Abbi Pulling topped a wet qualifying at Zandvoort to take pole position for race 1 on Saturday morning. Pulling showed good enough pace to top the qualifying classification with a 1:46.746 and therefore with that being her best lap time, she will start Saturday's race 1 from pole position as her best time was quicker than the rest of the drivers. For race 2, there will be a change of pole sitter for the first time in six races as Doriane Pin, the Mercedes backed Prema driver, will start from pole position. The French talent had the quickest second time out of anyone and will therefore start from the front. In the qualifying classification, Pulling was clear by a tenth, ahead of Doriane Pin, who was in second place overall. Nerea Marti was third for Campos. Marti is backed by clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger. Pulling has a 66-point lead in the standings coming into the event, with Pin in second place - level on point with Chloe Chambers in third. How F1 Academy qualifying unfolded at Zandvoort for round 4Saturday morning would roll around and it would mean qualifying time for the F1 Academy qualifying, on qualifying Saturday at the Zandvoort circuit for round four of the 2024 F1 Academy championship. In F1 Academy the two best times are taken from each driver to form the grid for both races taking place on Saturday late-afternoon and Sunday morning. Abbi Pulling would be favourite for taking pole position as she had taken pole position for both races in the last two rounds. Pulling had started the weekend off in the best possible way, by finishing top of both practice sessions on Friday. Rain would fall on Saturday morning on Zandvoort making it a wet and tricky circuit presenting great challenges for the 16 drivers participating across the weekend. To have as much time as possible, the drivers headed out on track as soon as the session began, with the green light on at the end of the pit lane. Drivers would be trying to get to grips with the circuit ad on the exit of turn 3 Amna Al Qubaisi had a little spin but thankfully for her, she did an excellent job of getting it back going again and there would be green flags once more. The track would improve throughout the first few laps and therefore a lot of the order would change about but the top two would be the constants with Abbi Pulling fastest and on provisional pole with Maya Weug in second place but after the first 12 minutes. There would be over a second gap between the top two but both drivers would be looking to find time. In between this action, Chloe Chambers would be the next driver to spin at the banked turn 3 corner but would do a good job of rejoining the circuit and keeping her car out of the wall. She would continue on in the session. The track had improved again though as American Lia Block, of ART and backed by Williams, put her car into second and Doriane Pin put herself third on the timing pages. With 10 minutes to go, after having some time in the pit lane reviewing track data and giving themselves a very short break, the drivers had headed back onto the circuit for the final 10 minutes of the session to try and improve their lap times. On the first runs Doriane Pin would be one to improve to second but she would bump wildcard entry, Nina Gademen, down to third. Just moments before, Gademen put in a great lap time, in her very first qualifying session in F1 Academy. Running would be halted though with six minutes and 33 seconds remaining as the red flag would be brought out. After spinning previously in the session at turn 3, and being able to keep it going, Bianca Bustamante would have hoping for better luck. This was not to be as after not being able to slow the car down into turn 3, she would find the barrier and would be wedged in it, breaking he front right suspension and subsequently ending her session. It would leave her with a tough two races across the weekend. After a short delay, the session would be restarted with the drivers heading back out for the final six minutes and to try and improve on their best times, in an attempt to further their grid positions. The track would see a whole host of drivers improve including Aurelia Nobels, with a great lap to put herself provisionally into third, with Doriane Pin having to reclaim second from the Brazilian place. Before long, the chequered flag would be out and only drivers on their final push laps could take to the line. Nerea Marti and Maya Weug would be among them and by the end they would go third and fourth respectively. No one could take Abbi Pulling's fifth pole position in a row away though, as she would take pole position for race 1 later on Saturda, after topping the qualifying session by just over a tenth to Doriane Pin. The Alpine Academy backed Rodin of Pulling set a 1:46.746 and that would be unmatched by the field, but Pin would run it close in second place. Nerea Marti would compete the top three in classification and start there for race 1. Maya Weug took fourth for Ferrari and Prema, ahead of Aurelia Nobels in fifth for Puma and ART. Wildcard entry Nina Gademan had a brilliant session for her future, with sixth place around her home event. After a difficult first 20 minutes of the 30-minute session, Chloe Chambers would end the session well to finish seventh, ahead of Williams-backed ART driver Lia Block, who was eighth. Hamda Al Qubaisi was ninth for MP Motorsport with British, Rodin Motorsport driver Jessica Edgar completing the top 10 of classification and that would be the top 10 for race 1. Doriane Pin had the quickest second best lap time out of the 16 and therefore would go from pole position in race 2. Race 2 would commence on Sunday morning but before that, in the late Saturday evening race 1 will take place. Abbi Pulling will start race 1 from pole position, with a chance to extend her championship lead beyond 66 points. 2024 F1 Academy Championship: Round 4 - qualifying provisional classification

Writer - F1 Journal On Friday evening, Abbi Pulling managed to top her second practice session of Friday, as at Zandvoort she topped the second and final practice session of the F1 Academy weekend in the Netherlands. Pulling showed her speed once again and the Alpine Academy talent, driving for Rodin Motorsport, would end the second session top, just like she did in the day's earlier morning session. The British talent would leave it late, as she finished fastest ahead of Prema's Ferrari backed talent Maya Weug, who was second at her home event and just over one tenth shy of the championship leader's time (1:36.367). MP Motorsport's Red Bull Racing backed driver, Hamda Al Qubaisi was third at the chequered flag. Jessica Edgar would join her Rodin Motorsport teammate Abbi Pulling in the top five, as she finished fourth. Nerea Marti for Campos in fifth made it four out of the five constructors in the top five. It would be an important 40-minute session with the 16 drivers, including Wildcard entry Nina Gademan, as they would get to grips with their car on the Zandvoirt circuit that was proving challenges for some of the drivers in the first practice session. After the wet and windy conditions ruined the spirits of free practice 1, the drivers would head out for free practice 2 with a dry track but the wind would still be there as even some of the Formula 1 drivers struggled with in their free practice , prior to the session. The first half of the session saw the timing sheets changing a lot, as the drivers would be finding more confidence and grip around the tricky and challenging Zandvoort layout. Doriane Pin, Maya Weug and Hamda Al Qubaisi all took turns going fastest before Abbi Pulling, the championship leader would go to the top of the times with a 1:37.546 - 0.045s clear of the rest. The wind was proving a challenge for the drivers and caught out Bianca Bustamante at the halfway point, as the McLaren backed junior found the gravel with her ART Grand Prix car. After suffering with oversteer, she spun at turn 8, heading into the gravel. She would find herself beached and unable to continue and this would therefore subsequently bring out the red flag. The delay would not be of too long and once the drivers headed back out they were keen to continue on improving their lap times and get some more running done ahead of qualifying to come on Saturday morning. Pulling would initially improve her time before Chloe Chambers and Nerea Marti, the two Campos drivers, took turns in moving to the top spot and beating Abbi Pulling's benchmark lap time of 1:37.405. Marti's time that had her in first place was a 1:37.048, but even that would be short lived at the top as the track began to ramp up. Jessica Edgar, Doriane Pin, Marti and Maya Weug would all take turns going top as the track ramped up with Weug extending her gap eventually by three tenths, with a 1:36.470. With the session nearing a close, Pulling took top spot away from Maya Weug with a stunning lap time of 1:36.366, which would be over a tenth clear on her second time in the closing stages, that would have been good enough for top spot. Pulling's exceptional pace in the 2024 F1 Academy Championship looks an incredible strength and has great consistency to it, as it seems. The championship leader, with a 66-point lead over Doriane Pin and Chloe Chambers, who are second and third, she looks tough to beat for the title. Action will continue into Saturday morning with the qualifying session, with each driver's best two times determining the grid for the two races on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. 2024 F1 Academy Championship: Round 4 - Netherlands free practice 2 result

Writer - F1 Journal British Alpine Academy driver Abbi Pulling was quickest in the opening practice at Zandvoort, for Rodin Motorsport, on Friday morning. Pulling set the fastest time to kick off round 4 of the 2024 F1 Academy season, on F1 Academy's second visit to Zandvoort in the two seasons of the history of the championship. The British driver was three tenths clear of Doriane Pin of Prema and backed by Mercedes. Pin was second, ahead of McLaren-backed ART driver Bianca Bustamante who was third. Pulling has a 66-point lead in the drivers championship over Pin, who is second in the standings and level on points with third-place Chloe Chambers of Campos Racing. How Free Practice 1 unfolded for Round 4 at ZandvoortFor the first time in exactly two months, it was time for F1 Academy action to return for round 4 of the championship at Zandvoort, taking place as a support for the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix. Zandvoort would make a return to the F1 Academy calendar for 2024 after making its debut in the inaugural F1 Academy season of 2023. The format has changed slightly between the seasons and instead of three races there will only be two. Dutch driver Nina Gademen will be the wildcard entry for the round. Gademen is known for her content creator part of her life as well as her currently competing in the British F4 Championship for Fortec Motorsport. 16 cars would compete across the weekend as Friday morning would see the first session of the weekend, which would be the opening practice session of the weekend, which would see an overcast session for the teams and drivers. With the green light at the end of the pit lane it would be the start of 40 minutes of practice, with the drivers to get some laps completed and get used to the different challenges the Zandvoort circuit presents. In the early sections of the session and the first 10 minutes, McLaren backed ART driver Bianca Bustamante would have the fastest time by almost 1.5 seconds, ahead of her Williams backed teammate Lia Block. Bustamante would look quick early on but would have a moment at turn 1 and would have a little spin, but she would catch it well before it headed into the gravel trap and managed to keep the car going and continued on her way round. Emely De Heus would go second quickest with less than 30 minutes to go as only five out of the 16 drivers had made their way out onto the circuit. She would set another improvement lap time to go within a tenth of Bustamante. The Al Qubaisi sisters, Hamda and Amna, would be hoping for a good weekend for their team MP Motorsport, on MP Motorsport's home event. They would both go third and fourth with Amna Al Qubaisi intiially going third, before being pipped by Hamda. The track would then begin to ramp up and improve and home hero De Heus would go to the top of the time sheets with Hamda Al Qubaisi going into second. Emely De Heus at her home round going quickest for MP Motorsport, and her MP Motorsport Al Qubaisi would join her in the top two. However, on the following lap, Al Qubaisi would leap back above to go fastest overall qith a great lap time from the Red Bull Racing backed driver. A 1:38.400 would be seven tenths faster than De Heus' time. Chloe Chambers the most recent race winner with less than 20 minutes remaining would then split the two MP Motorsport cars. She would put her Campos car into second place and would look to try and find her second win across the weekend. The track was continuing to improve and championship leaer Abbi Pulling would show great pace to go quickest with less than 15 minutes remaining. Pulling's 1:38.066 was over three tenths quicker than Hamda Al Qubaisi as there would be drivers finding improvements with slight spots of rain starting to fall as the session was heading towards the final 10 minutes. Doriane Pin would find some decent pace heading into the final 10 and with nine minutes to go would go second, three hundredths ahead of Al Qubaisi, while Bustamante would then go to third, seven thousandths away from the Mercedes backed Prema of Doriane Pin. Rain would continue to fall and make the race track unable to see an improvement of times as dry conditions are naturally quicker than wet conditions and therefore nothing would change, despite a few drivers heading out on wet tyres. The chequered flag would soon be out signalling the end of the session with no one close to Abbi Pulling, as the British Alpine Academy driver, would set the fastest time in free practice 1 for Rodin Motorsport. Pulling would be three tenths clear of Doriane Pin, who is second in the chamionship behind Pulling by 6 points. Pin in her Mercedes backed Prema would finish second ahead of Bianca Bustamante in third, for ART Grand Prix. Hamda Al Qubaisi, who won twice in F1 Academy in 2023, was fourth for MP Motorsport ahead of Maya Weug, who was fifth for Prema, in her Ferrari livery and completed the top five. Nerea Marti of Campos and Tommy Hilfiger was sixth ahead of wildcard entry Nina Gademen, representing The Female Quotient group in seventh. Emely De Heus, Jessica Edgar and Carrie Schreiner completed the top 10. After 40 minutes of practice around the legendary Zandvoort Circuit, the drivers will have had running and would have got used to the circuit's challenges. However, they will have another 40 minutes of practice on Friday evening. 2024 F1 Academy Championship: Round 4 - Netherlands free practice 1 result

Writer - F1 Journal F1 Academy returns to action this coming weekend for the first time in two months, for round four of seven in the 2024 championship - taking place at the Zandvoort circuit, in the Netherlands. Zandvoort played host to a round in the inaugural season of the F1 Academy Championship back in 2023 and will return once again for the 2024 championship for the final of two European rounds taking place in F1 Academy, in 2024. Last time in Spain, Abbi Pulling and Chloe Chambers were the race winners in the two races taking place at the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya. Pulling claiming her fourth win of the season, while Chloe Chambers taking her first win of the season. Pulling has a 66-point advantage over Doriane Pin and Chambers, who are second and third in the standings level on points (81). Alpine Academy and Rodin Motorsport driver has 147 points to her name. A look at the track and last year's action: Zandvoort, NetherlandsFor the second time in F1 Academy, the championship heads to Zandvoort, after the Dutch circuit was used in the 2023 championship. It is a circuit that many of the drivers will be familiar with as nine of the 16 drivers set to compete this weekend raced in the F1 Academy round at Zandvoort last season. Hamda Al Qubaisi and Carrie Schreiner, currently on the F1 Academy grid, shared the glory as they won the three races that weekend with Al Qubaisi winning race 1 and race 3 with Schreiner winning race 2. The circuit of which the drivers will have to master is 4.259km and the layout is formed of 14 corners. There is no DRS in F1 Academy but the Zandvoort circuit still presents overtaking opportunities down the start/finish straight, if the banked final corner is used to great effect. Other overtaking opportunities are also available into turn 10. Hamda Al Qubaisi has the lap record in F1 Academy, at Zandvoort. The driver from UAE set a 1:35.926 last year for her team MP Motorsport. In the two races to come across the weekend, there will be 17 laps in each one, giving a chance for a lot of action to happen across Saturday and Sunday. As with the 2024 format, there will be two practice sessions on Friday, with qualifying taking place on Saturday morning. Race 1 will happen on Saturday evening and race 2 will take place on Sunday morning. Nina Gademan: Wildcard entry for round 4Dutch driver Nina Gademen will become the wildcard driver to participate in round 4 at Zandvoort to make it 16 participants for this coming weekend's event. Gademen currently races in British Formula 4 for Fortec Motorsport and sits 20th in the standings. The 20-year old from Wijster, Netherlands will take he fourth Prema car, which is used for the wildcard entries participating in the 2024 F1 Academy Championship. The Dutch girl picked up her maiden British F4 podium at the Thruxton circuit earlier this year, in a great achievement. Also in her career so far, she took part in the 2022 24 hours of Zolder in the TB class - being part of an all female lineup. As well as her career on the track, she has made a name for herself as an e-sports content creator as well as having her own YouTube channel. Gademen will have the opportunity to compete at her home round, at Zandvoort and will be backed by The Female Quotient, and will run their livery on her across the three days of action. Last time out: Round 3 - SpainThe most recent piece of on-track F1 Academy action will be exactly two months from Friday's action, as round 3 concluded on June 23, in Spain, at the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya. Action was of plenty at the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya with the entire weekend having drama and thrilling action. For qualifying on the Saturday morning, it would chop and change a lot but just like round 2, in Miami, Abbi Pulling had her fastest and second fastest time being quicker than everyone else's. Therefore, the British Alpine Academy talent, driving for Rodin Motorsport, would take pole position for both races. The championship leader would be in a good position to extend her points lead. Abbi Pulling would convert pole to victory easily enough in race 1 as she would claim her fourth win out of the first five races of the season, to extend her lead once again. Pulling would finish almost five seconds clear of home girl Nerea Marti, who finished for second. Marti, driving for Campos and backed by Tommy Hilfiger, would finish on the podium at her home event. Haas-backed American Chloe Chambers finished third to complete the podium result. Sunday and attention would turn to race 2 with Pulling once again would start from pole position. However, she would be denied her fifth victory of the position as she would be beaten by Chloe Chambers, who would take victory in Barcelona. A fantastic and dominant display by Chambers, would see her beat Pulling by over six seconds. Pulling would finish second ahead of Hamda Al Qubaisi, who would pick up third place and complete the podium positions. Can anyone stop Abbi Pulling heading into round 4Excitement is building for F1 Academy fans ahead of the return of the series at Zandvoort this coming weekend, as there is interest of seeing these junior drivers to develop and progress their careers. This is a circuit that presents a lot of challenges and ones that the drivers will have to get to grips within the two practice sessions on Friday ahead of the competitive qualifying and races on Saturday and Sunday. With the 66-point lead that championship lead Abbi Pulling has over her closest competitors, in Doriane Pin and Chloe Chambers, this is a critical round, with eight races remaining, including this coming weekend. Action begins on Friday morning, with free practice 1. 2024 F1 Academy Championship: Round 4 - Netherlands Session timesTrack Times
