How the sprint panned out

Both Prema drivers (Bearman and Antonelli) had grid penalties. This resulted in Bearman starting down in 8th with a 5 place grid penalty, and Antonelli starting down in 15th due to a 10 place grid penalty carried on from the last round out in Belgium.

Lap 1
Zak O'Sullivan makes contact with Oliver Goethe, causing Goethe to go into the barrier. Because of the collision between the two drivers, it caused Kimi Antonelli to lock up and  hit into the rear of  O'Sullivan which resulted in him losing his front wing and having a front tire puncture. The safety car was quickly deployed. Antonelli was able to continue and drag his car back to the pits, getting a new front wing and equipping super soft tires. O'Sullivan however, stopped his car on the side of the track as it had shut down due to the collision detector.

Lap 3
The safety car ends and racing conditions resume. Bearman is now up in 3rd, and Fittipaldi retakes the lead.

Lap 5
Ollie Bearman goes wheel to wheel with Victor Martins at Curva Grande, and makes his way up into 2nd

Lap 7
Bearman sets the fastest lap of the race as he crosses the line. Marti is forced to take the escape road into turn one which allows Ollie to take the lead of the race. Amaury Cordeel and Jak Crawford make contact with one another which caused Cordeel's endplate to come off, he continued with no problems.

Lap 13
Joshua Durksen and Enzo Fittipaldio go wheel to wheel for the final podium position, Durksen stays ahead.

Lap 19
Zane Maloney and Paul Aron make contact at turn one. This causes the endplate of Aron to come off. He then drops down to 9th before continuing to drop down the order. He the pits to change his front wing.

Lap 21 (Final lap)
Aron exits the pits with his new front wing. Bearman crosses the line to finish 1st, followed by Martins (Who sets the fastest lap) and Durksen who hasn't been on the podium at all this season.
