A stunning drive from Gabriel Bortoleto sees him win from last on the grid.

How the Feature Race went

On lap one, Josep Maria Marti locks up and makes contact with Paul Aron which causes him to be spun around as they go into turn one. A few drivers (Marti, Hadjar, Martins and Hauger) had to take the escape road due to the collision. Hauger is left with a puncture and a damaged front wing. Zane Maloney leads followed by Bearman and Antonelli. The safety car comes out. On lap two, the safety car goes in. 

Lap 6, Bearman pits along with Martins in an attempt to undercut everyone. They rejoin 20th and 21st. Maloney, Durksen, Hadjar, Antonelli, Crawford, O'Sullivan, Cordeel and Fittipaldi all pit on lap seven. 

Dennis Hauger loses the rear going into turn one on lap eight. The safety car comes out and  Bortoleto, Marti, Verschoor, Villagomez and Miyata all pit under the safety car. The top five (Goethe, Maini, Cordeel, Stanek and Coolen) are all still yet to pit  as the safety car comes in at the end of lap 10. 

Ritomo Miyata is given a 10 second time penalty. On lap fifteen, Bearman makes contact with Correa which results in Correa losing his endplate. Bortoleto overtakes his teammate Maini for the lead of the race. 

Lap seventeen Correa goes into the pits and retires the car. Miyata is given another penalty (5 seconds) on lap twenty one. 

Both Bearman and Antonelli fight wheel to wheel whilst Cordeel comes on the radio to report a puncture. He pits on lap twenty four and puts on the super soft compound tire. 

On lap twenty five, both Goethe and Koolen pit meaning that Maini is the only driver remaining left to pit with only five laps remaining. He pits on lap twenty eight.

Gabriel Bortoleto crosses the line on lap thirty to achieve something which is deemed impossible, winning from last. He is the only driver to do so in Formula 2. Maini sets the fastest lap of the race (1:32.717).
