© Wikipedia The last few laps of the sprint race were action packed to say the least! The first half of the race was clean and not much happened. Debutant Christian Mansell lead into turn one, however Crawford wasn't as lucky as he lost positions to Mini and Durksen resulting in him dropping down to fourth. The lead was shortly changed though as fellow debutant Mini overtook Mansell. Durksen was up into second, and Mansell dropped down into third. A yellow flag was waved not long after as Oliver Goethe went down the escape road at turn 15. All was okay and he managed to rejoin the track safely. Not long after that however, the yellow flag was brought out yet again as Ritomo Miyata was into the barrier. His front left brakes seemed to be on fire. The safety car was deployed and remained out until the end of lap 17. At this time Durksen was in the lead. Mansell made contact with Bortoleto which caused a little chaos from behind, but everything was alright in the end as nobody else was hit or made contact with anyone. Cordeel was hit from behind by Goethe which caused him to remain still on track before turning himself around and continuing. Joshua Durksen remained in the lead throughout all of this, and drove a great few last laps and crossed the line to win his first race in Formula 2! Full Sprint Race results.1) Joshua Durksen
