Polish MP Motorsport driver Kacper Sztuka was announced to have parted ways with the Red Bull Driver Academy on Sunday. Sztuka is currently in his rookie season of Formula 3 and has had just four rounds so far in the 2024 Championship and this coming weekend will take part in the fifth around Barcelona. The 18-year old was with the Red Bull Academy since November 2023 after a successful year winning the Italian F4 Championship and the Formula Winter Series. However, seven months later they have parted ways. Sztuka took to social media to inform his followers and fans of him no longer being with the academy. He said (via his X account in a thread): "I wanted to share with you information about my development and further performances in Formula 3 this season. In recent weeks, the contract with Red Bull's junior program was terminated at the initiative of the partner." Kacper continued:"The above decision does not affect the assessment of the MP Motorsport team and our starting plans. In the 2024 season, thanks to the support of my sponsors, I intend to compete in all remaining rounds of the FIA Formula 3 Championship and continue to develop as a driver both on and off the track. "My determination to be the fastest, win and one day race against the best drivers in the world remains unchanged. Thank you for all your words of support. We are entering the final stage of preparations for the race in Barcelona. See you on the track!" Sztuka was announced to join MP Motorsport to race for them in this year's Formula 3 Championship on January 19 2023 and has partnered McLaren junior driver Alex Dunne and former fellow Red Bull junior Tim Tramnitz. Tramnitz is MP Motorsport's highest scorer so far in 2024. The German sits seventh in the standings with three podiums. Kacper Sztuka currently sits 19th in the standings with six points, with the same amount of points as Dunne, with him 20th in the standings Polish driver Sztuka will be hoping to bounce back from the set back of parting ways and deliver on and catch the attention of other academies of Formula One teams as there are many who regularly take on young drivers. Sztuka will next be in action this coming weekend in Spain for round five of the championship. Brandon Whiteside
