What a Race.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch this race unfold until today as I watched it back. Starting from the front Row both Redbulls followed quickly by Hamilton and Vettel. Verstappen had a great start, not so much for Riccardo unless it was all down to an impeccable start from Lewis as he leapt forward going toe to toe, wheel to wheel with Verstappen up to the first Corner, where Hamilton backed off slightly as he knew to win the War he had to choose the battels. In the meantime Vettel surging forward trying to find a route to undercut Riccardo while Bottas Went all the way round the out side to find the room. He almost took 3rd position but had to concede the place as Riccardo was on the racing line. Unfortunately, Alonso through no fault of his own or by the reliability issues that tends to hault his progress, but due to Occon and Hulkenberg colliding on the first corner a part of the front wing was discarded which flew out and hit Alonso's car which ended up giving him an engine problem causing his retirement from the Race. When interviewed on this later Sky asked him if he continues to enjoy racing. His response is why he will be missed by many. He responded He still loves racing F1 and sometimes things happen that you cant control. Such a shame that he wont be part of the circuit next year. A stonking Drive for Verstappen as he stayed out ahead of the pack all the way through with no trouble. Riccardo not so fortunate. As defending from Vettel for his 2nd place on laps 57 onward, a puff of white smoke came out the engine halting his race only 4 laps later. Vettel went on to claim 2 place but could not get near Verstappen. The main Victor of course is Lewis Hamilton for crossing the finish line in 5th position to pick up his 5th World Championship. Such an incredible achievement and so nice to see Vettel congratulate Hamilton on Camera as they both embrace. What a season it has been, and yet there are still 3 more races to go. Stay tuned for more news and after race interviews. Make sure you all have a smashing week!

Hamilton now has to Wait until Mexico to Fight for his 5th world Championship.
A huge congratulations to Kimi Raikkonnen for an outstanding Race win. The end of the race was edge of your seat stuff. At one point there was only 3 seconds between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. A tussle between Verstappen and Hamilton over laps 52 and 53 made for a great watch. At one point it looked as if Hamilton made the overtake for 2nd position stick but the formidable driver Max is, he managed to claw back the place. Mean while Kimi was upfront gaining an advantage as the two behind him battling for position made them a little slower, giving Kimi time to extend his lead. Behind the top 3 were Bottas and Vettel. Vettel made a massive recovery. From Starting 5th due to the grid place penalty to colliding with Daniel Riccardo, exactly the same way he did with max a few weeks ago, left him spinning after clashing tyres together on one of the corners due to a lockup under breaking. It looked worrying for Team LH as Vettel was closing the gap to Valtteri. The fans could sense the points dwindling away as he got closer and closer. Before too long Vettel made the move and took the 4th place possistion. Meaning that the title race continues into Mexico next week. Should Hamilton Scoere 5 more points than rival Vettel then he will claim that 5th tittle. Lights out in Mexico will be 19:11 GMT on the 28/10/18.
