Fancy getting a pair of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Shoes which are hand painted? Well below you can see how.
Alfa Romeo have teamed up with Accelleron to give fans an opportunity to grab a unique pair of customized Puma Trainers in a Bid to raise funds for Save the Children charity. The hand painted shoes will be auctioned off in Late November / Early December to mark the end of the 2022 season. The design is the brain child of Jetmir Dzelili, a Accelleron employee who has taken inspiration and included the helmet designs of both Bottas and Guanyu on the C42, Alfa's Championship contender. It took Dzelili 37 hours to turn these Puma Trainers into a unique piece of art with such immense detail. The trainers will be presented to Both Drivers who will sign them prior to them being auctioned off on the F1 Authentics Website. All of this is in aid of supporting Save the Children, a charity which the team have a long standing relationship. Here's what key personnel have had to say about the auction. Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal of Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN: “Giving back to the community is fundamental to our team and one of the key elements underpinning our relationship with Save the Children since 2019 and their commitment to supporting children in need all over the world. We are delighted to bring our partner Accelleron onboard for this project: the shoes they crafted are unique, and I’m sure fans will love the opportunity to have such a piece of memorabilia. Strategic collaborations between partners don’t just stop at business operations: as a team, we are glad to involve our partners to support causes close to our hearts.” Oliver Riemenschneider, Chairman of Accelleron: “2022 has been a meaningful year for our partnership with Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN. Our collaboration is focused on the exchange of intelligence, experience and insight between our operations, and we are already seeing the benefits of the transfer of progress and high-performance innovation. These shoes were a creative way to recognise the bond between our organizations – and to lend our support to Sauber’s commitment to Save the Children. They are a fabulous piece of Formula One memorabilia, and I hope they will help raising funds for many good causes.” Jetmir Dzelili, Accelleron employee and artist: “I have been drawing for many years, but it has become a more serious hobby since 2016. I painted a pair of trainers for a colleague’s son and word spread: I was then asked if I would like to help mark our partnership with Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN, and of course I was happy to get involved, especially as it was for a good cause. It was a very special moment to be on stage and hand over the shoes to Valtteri and Zhou – they appreciated my work, and that's the best compliment you can get.”

After over a week of speculation and anticipation, news has finally broke that Mattia Binotto has now resigned from his role as Team Principle of Scuderia Ferrari.
This news comes as the Marinello Based team finished 2nd in the Constructors Championship after what seemed to be a strong start to the 2022 season. There were reliability issues but what seemed to hamper them was the race strategy this year where they lost out on a lot of points for both Drivers and the Team. Matiia Binotto said : "With the regret that this entails, I have decided to conclude my collaboration with Ferrari," "I am leaving a company that I love, which I have been part of for 28 years, with the serenity that comes from the conviction that I have made every effort to achieve the objectives set. "I leave a united and growing team. A strong team, ready, I'm sure, to achieve the highest goals, to which I wish all the best for the future. I think it is right to take this step at this time as hard as this decision has been for me. "I would like to thank all the people at the Gestione Sportiva who have shared this journey with me, made up of difficulties but also of great satisfaction." CEO Benedetto Vigna "I would like to thank Mattia for his many great contributions over 28 years with Ferrari and particularly for leading the team back to a position of competitiveness during this past year," he said. "As a result, we are in a strong position to renew our challenge, above all for our amazing fans around the world, to win the ultimate prize in motorsport. Everyone here at the Scuderia and in the wider Ferrari community wishes Mattia well for the future." Long gone were the days where Ferrari replaced the Team Principle in a quick fire mode. It looks like it had helped the team get a stronger foundation and with the new regulations set, they were on for a fantastic year. Scuderia Ferrari are hoping to announce Mattia's replacement in the new year. Will Alfa Romeo's Fred Vasseur be in contention for the Job? Speculation as also started to grow that even "Retiring" F1 Boss and previous Technical Director of Ferrari, in the Schumacher era, could also be tipped for the Job. What do you make of this? Following 97 laps in the AMR22, Fernando Alonso has expressed his delight in the teams car especially after the finish they had to the season. “I cannot be overconfident for sure, as everything is going to change next year,” said Alonso. “But the feeling I had in the garage with the guys, the potential of the team, the talent that I see in the engineering room here, is outstanding, so I’m really, really, really happy right now." “When I signed for Aston I was 90 per cent happy, when they started improving and finished the season on a high I was 100 [per cent], this morning I was 100 [per cent], now I’m 100 plus.” At the time of his Shock move announcement, Aston Martin were currently in 9th place in the Constructors Championship. After seeing the season out they then climbed their way upto 7th place, albeit 118 points behind Alpine. Opening up further on the AMR22 he knows that the car will hopefully only get better : “I was happily surprised on everything, but this year’s car is not near what we will run next year, so it is not anything to get confident or anything like that, it’s not that it is going to be a continuation of this car". He was running a plain Livery on the AMR22 as he is "Out on Loan" from Alpine as his contract has not officially come to an end. Lance Stroll then took over from the 2 time world champ for his run in testing.
