The Monaco Grand Prix is considered one of the most prestigious tracks on the Formula 1 calendar. Cars race on the tight streets of the coastal city, surrounded by superyachts and tight corners. The Monaco Grand Prix is known for its limited overtaking and safety cars.

The first race in Monaco took place in April 1929 and became part of the first World Championship of Drivers in 1950. Winning the Monaco Grand Prix along with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans are considered the Triple Crown of Motorsports and is often regarded as winning the three most prestigious races in motorsports.
